Our Objectives

• Promote continuity of building code enforcement, inspection and training in the Metro Atlanta area.
   

• Provide the means for Metro Building officials, building code inspectors and other interested parties to collectively discuss code interpretation and code theory as well as new construction techniques and materials.
   

• MAIA affiliated counties, as filed with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, are Butts, Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Newton, Rockdale, Spalding and Walton.
